Elizabeth Best began her legal career at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office working as a certified paralegal at the Special Crimes Bureau. Choosing to further her legal career, she applied for and attended law school at Southwestern Law School.
Elizabeth was hired at Fowler St. Clair as a paralegal while she studied for and awaited her bar exam results. She transitioned into an associate attorney position upon passing the bar exam. Elizabeth has gained significant experience in civil litigation, business law, probate, and estate planning.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Arizona cum laude with a degree in Public Administration and Policy. She completed her paralegal certificate at the top of her class at New York University. While at Southwestern Law School, she externed for the Honorable Samantha Jessner at the Los Angeles Superior Court and at Peace Over Violence in Pasadena, California.
She was on the Dean’s List and received the Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship as well as the Southwestern Excellence Award. She also received the CALI award for the highest grade in the class for Legal Reasoning and Wills and Trusts and was an editor of the Journal of International Media and Entertainment Law. She was in the top three of the SCALE program and top ten percent of her graduating class, graduating cum laude.
