Maren Sorensen’s legal career began in the state of Washington working in the King County Prosecutor’s Office as an extern in the Domestic Violence Unit. As she pursued her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law, she worked as an intern in the Major Crimes Unit of the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office and as an intern in the Seattle City Attorney’s Office.
Her professional legal career led her to Phoenix, Arizona. After moving to the Valley of the Sun, she was hired as an intern at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in the Sex Crimes Bureau. Her accomplishments led to a position as a Deputy County Attorney serving in the Community Based Prosecution Bureau.
As a Deputy County Attorney, Maren was the lead prosecutor on several felony trials and numerous misdemeanor jury and bench trials. Her successful prosecutorial experience gives her an edge in representing clients in civil cases.
Now as a private practice attorney at Fowler St. Clair, she is aiding clients in civil litigation, family law, and criminal law.
Maren graduated from Washington State University Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology. She completed her Juris Doctor in May of 2016 from Gonzaga University School of Law. While attending Gonzaga University, she was also a member of the National Trial Team.
She joined Fowler St. Clair in 2019.
After moving from the state of Washington, she has come to love the Arizona sunshine. Maren spends her time hiking and taking pictures of the Sonoran Desert. She also enjoys getting in her car for road trips across the United States.
